When President Obama visits the Las Vegas valley, he could stay anywhere. In 2009 he chose Caesars Palace on the world-famous Las Vegas Strip. In 2012 it was Element, a Westin hotel in Summerlin. But the last two stay-overs have been at the Westin Lake Las Vegas in Henderson.
Henderson is Nevada’s second largest city with more than 270,000 residents, and was the nation’s fastest growing city from 1990 to 1998. And though the name is a bit of a misnomer, the resort-style master planned community of Lake Las Vegas is actually in Henderson.
