The Foothill High School Marching Band proudly represented Henderson and the state of Nevada at the 2014 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. One of just six high school bands, the Falcons marched in front of more than 3 million people along the parade route and a television audience of more than 50 million.
Under the direction of Travis Pardee, the 300 students performed “Nutcracker A La Vegas.” Donations to help them cover the cost of the trip can be made at FHSbands.com.
Foothill’s next appearance will be at Henderson Winterfest on Saturday, December 13. The Evening Light Parade begins at 5 PM on Water Street. Join us downtown to welcome Santa and see on of the nation’s top marching bands!
